Assessment

​Various diagnostic assessment services are available to answer questions you have about your child's developmental strengths and challenges. These include, but are not limited to, Autism, ADHD, Learning, Giftedness, Anxiety, Mood, and behaviourally-based challenges for individuals aged 2 to 23 years old. A full, detailed report is provided at the end of every assessment, which includes diagnostic conclusions and recommendations for services best suited to your child's needs. *The costs per assessment are generally determined after a first meeting, so the following flat rates per assessment type are estimates only and meant as a guide

Cost may change depending on the amount of time needed to arrive at meaningful conclusions. Final payment is required for the release of the results & report.

Autism diagnostic assessments

(vary depending on age, previous assessment status, & if a full pyschoeducational assessment is needed): range from $2000 to $3800

psychoeducational
Assessments

(e.g. Learning/Intellectual Disabilities):

range from $2200 to $2800

Giftedness for Academic Placements

range from $1000 to $1200

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Diagnostic Assessments

Our ASD assessment procedure is thorough and adheres to the Gold Standard method that includes administering the ADOS-2 and conducting a comprehensive  DSM-5-TR structured interview with parents.

 

Fee: $2880-$3840, depending on age and additional testing required.

What to expect:
Parents, child, and teacher will receive several questionnaires to complete online.
Parents and child will complete several assessment appointments including:

  • Intake interview with parent(s) (and child, if appropriate), to gather background information (~1-2 hours)

  • Cognitive testing (~1-2 hours)

  • ADOS-2 testing (~1-1.5 hours)

  • Comprehensive DSM-5-TR structured interview for ASD with parent(s) (~3 hours)

 

Additional testing may include:

  • Comprehensive ADHD interview

  • Comprehensive mental health interview

  • Academic testing

  • Executive functioning testing

ADHD Diagnostic Assessments

​Fee: $2880-$3840, depending on age and additional testing required.

  • Cognitive testing (~1-2 hours)

  • Executive functioning testing (~1-1.5 hours)

 

Additional testing may include:​

  • Comprehensive mental health interview

Psychoeducational Assessments

​Fee: $2880, depending on age and additional testing required.

​

What to expect:
Parents, child, and teacher will receive several questionnaires to complete online.
Parents and child will complete several assessment appointments including:

  • Intake interview with parent(s) (and child, if appropriate), to gather background information (~1-2 hours)

  • Cognitive testing (~1-2 hours)

  • Academic testing (~2 hours)

Additional testing may include:​

  • Comprehensive mental health interview

  • Comprehensive ADHD interview

  • Executive functioning testing​​

Giftedness Assessments

​Fee: $1200, depending on age and additional testing required. If testing reveals that the child is not gifted, parents can opt out of a detailed report and
the fee is reduced to $620.

What to expect:
Parents, child, and teacher will receive several questionnaires to complete online.
Parents and child will complete several assessment appointments including:

  • Intake interview with parent(s) (and child, if appropriate), to gather background information (~1-2 hours)

  • Cognitive testing (~1-2 hours)

 

Additional testing may include:​

  • Comprehensive mental health interview
